Notice on the 6^th SELEP Cup National Foreign Language Teaching Contest

为提升外语教学质量，提高外语专业教学水平，推进我校外语师资队伍建设，促进教师发展，深化教学改革，教育部高等学校外国语言文学类专业教学指导委员会、教育部高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会、教育部职业院校外语类专业指导委员会和上海外语教学出版社联合主办“外教社杯”全国高校外语教学大赛。

In order to enchance the quality and standards of foreign language teaching, promote the construction and development of foreign language teaching staff and deepen teaching reform, SELEP Cup National Foreign Language Teaching Contest was co-organized by Foreign Language Professional Teaching Steering Committee of Ministry of Education, ELT Advisory Board under the Ministry Education, Advisory Committee of Foreign Language Teaching in Vocational Education of Ministry of Education and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press.

本次大赛初赛将于5月13日在我校举行。参赛选手须以电子课件进行现场授课，课型为综合课，授课主题和内容自定，授课时间为20分钟，在规定时间内展示一堂有起承转合的完整的课。之后各位评委从其语音语调、课件制作、仪表仪态、授课质量等各个环节进行综合评定。最终选拔出一名优秀选手参加山东省分赛区的复赛。

The preliminary contest will be held in our university on May 13^th. Competitors can choose their topic and content and will give a coherent and complete intensive class with courseware within 20 minutes. After that, the judges will make a comprehensive evaluation of pronunciation and intonation, courseware design, manners, teaching quality and so on. An outstanding player will be selected to participate in the semi-finals of Shandong division.

第六届“外教社杯”全国高校外语教学大赛将开展英语类专业组比赛，下设英语专业组、商务英语专业组和翻译专业组三个组别。 英语专业组和商务英语专业组赛程分为分赛区初赛、 复赛、决赛、全国决赛和总决赛几个阶段；翻译专业组赛程分为全国初赛、复赛、决赛和总决赛几个阶段。

The 6^th SELEP Cup National Foreign Language Teaching Contest will be held among academic English teachers, with English major group, business English group and translation major group. The schedule of English major group, business English group is divided into preliminary, semi-final, final, national final and final contests; the schedule of translation major group is national preliminary, semi-final, national final and final contests.
